Ever since Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins were put together in the programming, there has been a lot of hype surrounding the two starts. The fans love the fact that they are back together and that they can see two-thirds of one of the best stables of all time reunite yet again. Normally, with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins uniting, the questions about the possibility of Roman Reigns joining the team are going to start to pop up.
Reigns have been in the main event picture of Monday Night Raw for the majority of the last couple of years which is one of the reasons that he was never really close to returning to the Shield. While Rollins and Ambrose fought for the tag titles at Summerslam, Reigns was involved in a monster fatal-four way in the main event of WWE’s second biggest show of the year.
Now, he feels like he would be the third wheel in the Shield. People are much more fond of Dean and Seth, but there is no doubt that there is a large portion of the fans that would like to see him back with the tag team champions. While he was talking with the media, he seemed like someone that knows that reuniting with those two is probably not going to happen as he is a part of something bigger on the red brand.
“Over the next few weeks, we’ll be able to see it play out. But the main thing right now is I’ve been in the title picture for the Raw brand, so I can firmly say neither of those guys would leave that opportunity to rejoin The Shield and rekindle that flame.”
