The Season 2 of Telltale Games’ Batman: The Enemy Within started with an even bigger bang than the first one. What is known for now is that the well-known villain Harley Quinn will appear in the second episode of the second season. She will probably appear as one of the mysterious individuals that Joker talked about in the first episode.
Telltale Games revealed the news in their preparation of the second episode. The sequel will arrive on the home consoles, PC, and mobile devices starting in late September. Gamers will be able to see Harley Quinn in Telltale’s universe for the first time. According to Game Informer, Telltale kept the core elements intact, while giving a different take on the character. Thanks to Margot Robbie’s take on the character in Suicide Squad, Harley has grown in popularity pretty much.
As you know, she had a clown makeup on and the red-and-black leather getup in Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham City. Nonetheless, Telltale opted for a street punk look for Harley instead of the Gothic-clown one. There are still black leather pants and boots, as well as the black and red bodice.
Furthermore, Telltale will also try to depict a rather different sort of power dynamic between the Joker and Harley, something we haven’t seen before. There have been numerous experiments with these two over the years – we’ve had an opportunity to see Harley break off from the Joker and be with Poison Ivy and we even saw her in the Injustice universe cross to the “good” side when she helped Batman fight against Superman and Wonder Woman. This is not all as she was even one of the main characters of the Injustice2 storyline.
When it comes to Telltale, no one can know in which direction the story will go. Although Joker’s appearance has been limited in the second season, it’s not to be neglected, especially in its relation to Harley.
