As many of you already know, the upcoming Aquaman movie is in production, and from time to time we have an opportunity to see in which direction it is going, what we’ll be watching, etc., thanks to the pictures from the set. Namely, some new images from the set have been offered online, and in them we can see an Atlantean warrior and star Jason Momoa, or possibly his stunt double, getting thrown out of a window. Aquaman has been an icon for more than 75 years, and he is well known to the fans of DC Comics as the ruler of Atlantis. He is also devoted to protecting the whole universe, both land and sea. As far as its shooting is concerned, it will take place on numerous interesting locations. At this point, it is on the Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia, whereas extensive filming will be completed at Village Roadshow Studios. Apart from that, the crew will also go to Sicily, Tunisia and Newfoundland.
When it comes to the cast of Aquaman, it consists of Jason Momoa in the role of the titular King of Atlantis, Amber Heard as his wife Mera, Willem Dafoe starring as Nuidis Vulko, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus and Temuera Morrison in the role of Tom Curry. Among others we will have Ludi Lin as Murk, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Michael Beach as Jesse Kane, Patrick Wilson as Orm/Ocean and Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman as Atlanna.
The film is being produced by Peter Safran, while its executive producers are Jon Berg, Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder and Geoff Johns. Its director is James Wan, and its storyline follows a script by Will Beall, Geoff Johns and Wan.
Finally, Aquaman will be released on December 21, 2018. Nonetheless, the audience will have an opportunity to meet the character again sooner than that, since Aquaman is a key member of the Justice League. The superhero ensemble will hit theaters November 17.
