This Monday we had the opportunity to see the Solar Eclipse, and it seems like everyone was frenzied with it. Automakers didn’t stay immune to that craze, and some went to celebrate the event. If you were one of those who couldn’t be there on August 21st Nissan has a gift of redemption for you. However, you might have to spend a few bucks to have it. The Japanese carmaker decided to add three more trucks to its lineup. They call it the Midnight Edition and it brings a unique black experience and premium features at a discounted price. The Rogue, Murano, Pathfinder, Sentra, Altima and Maxima are all offered with the package, and now three more trucks from its lineup are joining this nocturnal league.
During the Eclipse on Monday, Nissan revealed the Midnight Edition package for the Titan, Frontier and Titan XD. We still have no info about the pricing, however, the company promises that the package will be ‘a better deal’ than buying a regular truck with similar features.
The Titan and Titan XD models feature blacked-out badging, outside mirrors, step rails, door handles, headlights, wheels, fog lights and of course grille. The aforementioned trucks will have special ‘Midnight Edition’ badges on the outside and special floor mats. Those who opt for Midnight Edition will choose from Magnetic Black, Pearl White and Gun Metallic exterior paints however the Charcoal interior trim is present in every option. Certain trim levels will be a part of this package. This option will be available on the Titan Crew Cab SV, SL, and Titan XD 4×4 equipped with the 5.0-liter Cummins engine.
Their smaller relative, Nissan Frontier Midnight Edition will feature similar details among which are black mirrors, bumpers, badging, door handles, grille and 18-inch alloy wheels. When it comes to the Crew Cab SV, the package can be had with Glacier White, Gun Metallic and Magnetic Black exterior colors.
We know that this option is only offered on some of the more expensive trims but the Midnight Edition is gorgeous if you ask us. You might have to say goodbye to a few thousands of hard earned bucks, but this will be the right choice for those who want a well-optioned truck. This package is expected this Fall, and it will be available for the 2018 models.
