There is a lot of talk about the new iPhone 8 which is coming from Apple. Some of the rumors that have appeared in recent months are probably true, but the company keeps its mouth shut and we will know everything at the big reveal. However, there has been a leak which “confirmed” the design of the new iPhone 8. Let’s take a look.
The leaked schematics turned out to be true – the new device will be slightly larger than the iPhone 7, but smaller than the iPhone 7 Plus. It is similar to the Galaxy S8, and it should be easy to hold it in one hand. The large 5.8-inch edge-to-edge screen will make this device look fascinating, but we can clearly see that the front facing camera and sensors are located in the upper segment. There is a possibility that the “cut-out” notch in the top bezel will be blacked out when viewing the video to create a straight vertical image along the top.
At the rear side, vertically positioned dual cameras are clearly seen, and this is to aid augmented reality. Another rumor was fast charging, which is indeed coming together with wireless charging. However, wireless charger will be an expensive option for those who want it, whereas headphone jack is gone for good.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 8 cases – Crystal Clear, Wallet and FlexiShield fit perfectly around the prototype. Furthermore, there are more indications that Apple will not have enough of these devices at launch so they may drastically increase the price (as if it hadn’t been high already). Perhaps the Cupertino-based tech giant takes a risky step and removes Touch ID so that only Face ID remains, but only one source claims this.
The iPhone 8 is definitely drawing a lot of attention since it is a game-changing device. We cannot wait to see the new smartphone launched and once that happens, we will have all the details confirmed officially.
