Having lost the number 1 spot on Hollywood Reporter’s Top Actors chart from Cara Delevingne for a whole week, Dwayne The Rock Johnson is back at his position on the chart dated August 16.
The Top Actors chart ranks the most popular actors on social networks such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Google Plus, using global data from the company for social media analytics MVPindex. The chart uses the methodology based on combining engagement on social media and additions of subscribers/followers on a weekly basis. The last tracking week was finished on August 8.
There were 4 actors who reappeared in the top 10 of the Top Actors chart. Tom Holland, Spider-Man star was once number 20, whereas Nina Dobrev managed to reach the 10th position for the first time.

10. Nina Dobrev
Last week rating: number 15.
Dobrev’s last high point on the Top Actors chart in seven weeks was number 15, according to the July 26 data. However, she reached the top 10, with a 56% advance in Instagram favorites – 4.9 million, during the week of tracking. One of her posts threw back to July 10 and the wedding of Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich in Idaho, where Nina Dobrev got to be a bridesmaid for the first time.

This happened after he got back into everything with the Spider-Man: Homecoming promo in Tokyo. In the meantime, a photo appeared showing a screenshot of a post on Tumblr with a theory that the star “constantly looks like he’s hiding a frog in his mouth.” Holland replied that he “can confirm that the rumours are true.”
