Developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto is, without a doubt, one of the most popular video games and one of the best-selling ones of all time. It still draws a huge number of gamers over and over again. The last released installment came out in 2013, so for quite some time fans have been dying to hear something about the next sequel.
It was earlier this year that the impatient gamers were happy to hear that Rockstar North had begun working on GTA 6 when the rumor appeared on a website TechRadar. However, their happiness did not last long, as this piece of information was never officially confirmed. But then a CV belonging to actor Tim Neff appeared and it said that the actor had done “motion capture work on GTA 6.” Needless to say, the fans found only one way to interpret this piece of info – they concluded that this must mean the game is already in production, only developers refused to reveal that.
Unfortunately, Tim Neff said on what is believed to be his Twitter account that that was not his resume and that he even didn’t have the account on the website on which the CV appeared. The fake CV also suggested that Neff was working on another Rockstar Games’ video game, Red Dead Redemption 2, which is set to be released in 2018. However, he said that that was not true, either.
All in all, it seems that, for now, we can only continue to speculate about GTA 6 possible release date and what we should expect. But, we should not lose hope that at least possible release date will be revealed in not so distant future. Some rumors suggest that we should not expect the highly-anticipated title before 2024, but, again, these are only guesses for the time being.
