They say ‘Everything is bigger in Texas.’ Well, the expectations for the two major teams from this state are going to be pretty big in this upcoming season too. The Dallas Cowboys were one of the best teams in the NFL a season ago as they had a legit shot to make it to the Super Bowl, while the Texans had one of the best defenses in the league, with a new, exciting quarterback leading the way in 2017.
Dave Dameshek of the NFL.com has stated that the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans are going to be playing in the Super Bowl LII. Not only that, but he even predicted that the Dallas Cowboys are going to go 11-5 and win the NFC East title for the second year in a row. According to this guy, they will avenge the loss from the season ago as they will beat the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round and move on to the Atlanta Falcons.
Then, he sees both Elliot and Morris, who might not even make the roster, help them win the game and move on to the Houston Texans at the Super Bowl LI. Dave thinks that Watson will win Rookie Of The Year, so the Cowboys will be playing against a rookie that has had an amazing season behind him.
Finally, he takes it even one step further and picks the Dallas Cowboys to win it all behind Ezekiel Elliots 130-yard and 1-TD performance. It is for sure a nice dream for the Dallas Cowboys fans as they are hoping that this is the team that is going to bring back the Lombardi to the Big D.
What do you think about this bold prediction? Is it possible for something like this to happen?
