6 Marvel Characters Perfect For Spider-Man’s Mentor in Spider-Man: Homecoming 2

Long-anticipated Spider-Man: Homecoming is finally here, and it brought a proper introduction of the hero into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tony Stark is a mentor in Homecoming, but we will probably not watch him in the next installment. According to the recent report, the MCU wants a different character to enter that role and even though we are years away from Spider-Man 2, we already have several recommendations.

We have often seen Spider-Man teaming up with the other heroes. Also, MCU is filled with characters, but not every one of them can appear in the sequel. We have made predictions, and now, we present you six characters that could be a perfect fit with Spidey.

6. Ant-Man

We already watched Ant-Man and Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, but they were rivals. One of the highlights of the movie was Spider-Man battling Giant-Man, and we would love to see these two characters in the sequel. Scott Lang would be of great assistance to Spider-Man in his little heist and if he is Tom Holland’s top selection, who are we to argue?

5. Doctor Strange

A lot of people would love to see Doctor Strange in the next Spider-Man movie, and he is one of the top picks. The Master of Mystic Arts would be a perfect fit with Spider-Man, and their differences might be the thing that is going to connect the two. Spider-Man has experience with magic, as you could have read it in the comics, whereas one of his villains, Morbius the Living Vampire is requested to appear in the live action. Doctor Strange and Spider-Man should have no problems hanging out because Strange is Tony Stark of magic.

4. Captain America

Peter Parker admires Iron Man, but perhaps his morals are more in line with Captain America. Captain America would give some interesting advice to Spider-Man even though they have different attitudes. The two have met briefly in Captain America: Civil War and they had a fun rapport, but there is a possibility that Chris Evans moves on from the MCU. Whatever the case is, watching Captain America in Spider-Man 2 would be entertaining.

3. The Hulk

The circumstances of the Hulk’s movie rights are perplexing, and that is one of the reasons we only watch the Hulk in films where he isn’t the main star and Thor: Ragnarok is the perfect example. From this perspective, it makes sense to see the Hulk next to Spider-Man in the future movie. Also, Peter Parker and Bruce Banner would be fun to watch, and the fans would simply love their connection. Also, Spider-Man would have to work with someone whose strength is admirable and uncontrollable at the same time, so their chemistry, when they are fighting, would also be entertaining.

2. Black Widow

Black Widow is probably not great in the role of Spider-Man’s mentor, and this is exactly what makes her perfect. Her transformation from a cold-blooded assassin to the protector of the MCU would be amazing for the fans to watch. The knowledge she could transfer to Spider-Man would be unconventional, and she would cover some darker aspects of being a superhero.

1. Daredevil

This is not a rocket science, and we let our imagination run wild. Probably the best Spidey’s mentor would be Daredevil. First of all, they are both from New York. Secondly, they have secret identities. Thirdly, they both fight against Kingpin. Just so there is no confusion, Daredevil is not perfect by any means, but he may be the only hero who understands what it is like to have a secret identity.

Which of these characters is your favorite choice? Is there any superhero that is not on this list, but you think that it would be perfect to appear in Spider-Man: Homecoming 2?
