Everyone knows that Honda is the world wide known manufacturer that has consistently produced cars which are somehow always at the top of the favorite tables, but they also boast with other features like impressive fuel efficiency, overall handling, and performance. That fact continues with the new Accord which is just another one in the line of Honda’s impressive vehicles.

The main competitor that Accord has is the 2018 Toyota Camry. You probably know that the latest Camry got really good reviews and the notable one was that it is an exciting car. To counter this Honda update its Accord and they plan to go full steam forward and put the Camry on the sidelines. As we managed to find to out the 2018 model might be powered by a 1.5 L turbo-four engine in one variant while the other one might be a 2.4 L naturally aspirated inline 4. Now that we know this a question pops up – will the Accord get rid of its V6 units? If it does stick with the very capable V6’s will it try to pair it to the new 10 speed automatic from the 2018 Odyssey? The answers regarding this will, unfortunately, come a little later, so patience will be put to the test here.
From recent sketches that were released online, we could see that Honda plans to be even bolder with the Accord’s design. On those pictures, we could see sharper lines and a more modern look, although we did not get to examine the whole package. According to what Motor Trend reported a few things have been attended to, and it helped “the coupe and sedan get five-star overall ratings from the NHTSA and the sedan is an IIHS Top Safety Pick.”
