Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is a story about four high school kids who find an old video game console and suddenly appear in the jungle setting of the game. As avatars, they discover that you need to survive in Jumanji.
The movie will hit theaters at the end of the year, and now, we have the first glimpse at the film in a new 20-second teaser trailer. The video starts with the Jumanji game buried on a beach, and later on in the teaser, we can see all four stars in action – Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black and Kevin Hart – plus there is a ton of wild animals.
Jack Black has told the press recently that the presence of the late Robin Williams will be felt in the new movie. Those four kids that have become avatars need to get back to the real world, but in order to do so, they will go through a perilous journey, find out something Alan Parrish left two decades ago and change the way they perceive themselves. Otherwise, they will be stuck in the game forever and ever.
In the Jumanji sequel, besides the main stars, we will also see Nick Jonas, Ser’Darius Blain, Alex Wolff, Morgan Turner and Madison Iseman. The original Jumanji was directed by Joe Johnston, and it was released in 1996 with Robin Williams and Bonnie Hunt leading the cast. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is going to be premiered on December 20, 2017.
Below, you can see the teaser trailer and soon we expect a full trailer to be released. We cannot wait to see the new film which is definitely going to take us back to childhood in an exciting and modern way.
