Eva Marie wasn’t really one of the fan favorites as her in-ring work wasn’t up to par with the rest of the performers. However, the WWE really didn’t sing her for her wrestling ability, but because of the way she looks. Eva is an attractive woman, and that is what she brought to the table in the WWE. The company always liked her marketability and the potential that this girl had in that department.
Recently, she decided to leave the WWE as she had other offers on the table. Pursuing goals in other spheres of life is something that a lot of people have done as well. Maybe she wasn’t a big star in the WWE, but who knows, maybe acting is a thing that she is going to succeed in.
One of the people that made this kind of transition after being one of the greatest wrestlers of all time is none other than Dwayne The Rock Johnson. After he had conquered the world of wrestling, this guy came to Hollywood and became one of the most popular actors in the world today. Since he was also a wrestler, Eva Marie was asked whether or not The Rock reached out to her and gave her some kind of advice. Here is what she had to say.
“Yes, he’s awesome. I literally couldn’t ask for a better mentor. He’s done exactly what I’m trying to do, he gets it. Going into an audition or putting yourself on tape, it’s not the easiest thing to do especially because an audition is usually a camera and one person and then you have to bring to life this character. His advice to me is to do the work, always put 110% effort into whatever it is that I’m doing, especially when it comes to these auditions and bringing these characters to life.”
