Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has decided that iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be nothing short of a peep into the latest technology. Confirmation of the company that it infused NFC (Near Field Communication) chips into its latest sales-record-shattering mobile phone devices, iPhone 6 and Plus, is a proof that Apple can do magic with technology. However, here is a catch! Remember, Apple also launched a new payment system called Apple Pay on the same day? Interestingly, Apple has given; and yet not given NFC to its new iPhone users.
NFC ONLY for Apple Pay
If a usual iPhone 6 user believes that his device will easily pair with the speakers or NFC tags integrated within other apps, then he/she is wrong. The NFC chip has been put under the covers and a spokeswoman of the company, while talking to Cult of Mac said that this chip can be used with Apple Pay ONLY.
NFC Restricted from Developers
The NFC chip in Apple’s new devices has been locked or restricted from the developers, just the way it did with iPhone 5s Touch ID. However, Apple has decided not to market NFC as something “additional,” because this is just another constituent of Apple Pay.
Nevertheless, Apple has also proven that a few of its partners might get access to NFC chips before it goes “public” for other developers. The magic of NFC chip has already been put to show through iPhone 6, which managed to unlock a room of hotel without keys.

NFC is one of the most innovative gifts of technology to mankind. From sharing files to pairing devices, making your home fully automated to launching new apps, NFC can be used for all kinds of creativities.
NFC allows a user to exchange data without doing anything and by simply placing the other NFC-enabled device a few centimeters away.
Apple is not the first one to infuse its mobile phone devices with NFC chips. In the past, Samsung Galaxy S5 as well as Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) Lumia have used the same technology.
