The invite comes with a headline “See The Bigger Picture,” but it does not have any product details mentioned on it. Designed for professionals
BlackBerry Passport has been designed for the professionals. For this purpose the shape and size of the smartphone is also different from the other smartphones in the market. This flagship handset is designed keeping in mind the needs of professionals in varied fields such as the businessmen, doctors, etc. To demonstrate its capability, it released a picture of the device with an image of a chest x-ray on the device. The large-screen of the device will serve numerous purposes like medical imagery, technical schematics, spreadsheets and other documents.
The keyboard is also redesigned to a touch enabled one, which means that now the users will not need to press the keys for typing, but simply brushing the fingers over the keys would do the work. This will help in communicating in fast and clear manner. The U.S. used to be the strongest market for BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB), but now they do not see it as a potential market. Therefore, for the launch of the Passport no event is scheduled for US yet.
