We have found out that the second season of the Amazon’s British motoring TV series called The Grand Tour is in its final phase of production and it should be available on Amazon Prime Video soon. According to the various reports, James May, Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson are working on the finishing touches, and we can’t even put in words how excited we are because of that.
James May was interviewed by The One Show, and he was asked for the exact release date to which he responded: “October is when you’ll first be able to see it. But after that, you’ll be able to see it whenever you want, of course.”
May was also willing to talk about a large budget The Grand Tour received, and he said that they need all that money in order to do everything there is in the show. According to May, they spent about the same amount of money for the second season as they did for the first.
“There’s a lot of travel involved. There’s a lot of crew involved. There’s a lot of tech involved, filming in 4K,” May revealed. “But that’s boring stuff. It’s going to look largely the same, but we’ve moved it on a bit in a way that I can’t really tell you about yet because you’re the enemy and it’s secret!”
In the first season, you could watch May, Hammond, and Clarkson in California, South Africa, Namibia, Netherlands and the UK. If you never watched this show, the trio travels from one city to the other, and occasionally, they film inside their huge tent. Every time they stop they do entertaining things such as training with the special forces, for instance.
The premiere of The Grand Tour Season 2 is scheduled for this October on Amazon Prime. Follow us for more details.
