The original game Rampage enables its gamers to make chaos around the city trying to demolish as many buildings as they can while being chased by the army. Other games under the same name do exist, however, it is only the original that can give you so much pleasure because of its numerous options.
The question that could be posed is whether the long-awaited movie Rampage could show this game faithfully and live up to it.
Dwayne Johnson is the very source of information regarding the film as the photos he posts on the social media are revealing lots of things that are going on behind the camera.
He has a photo of himself, Naomie Harris, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan but also with Jason Liles who, according to Johnson, is playing George in the movie.
Johnson also took an occasion to answer some of his fans’ questions, and this is what we know so far:
According to Dwayne, the Rampage will revolve around three animals who have gone through “evil genetic editing” which affects and changes their DNA due to which they change completely and get a new physical appearance. Dwayne’s character will find his friend, an albino gorilla named George, being one of the targets of the experiment transforming it from a friendly companion to a monster.
The movie has started to film this week and below you can read its synopsis:
Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry transforms this gentle ape into a raging monster. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered alpha predators. As these newly created monsters tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but also to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.
