Created by and starring Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, Broad City is a comedy TV series which first aired in 2014. It was immediately well-received so the second season was released after only one year, and then the third one started airing in 2016. Now, following this release pattern, it’s time for Season 4. Much to all fans’ delight, the official release date has recently been confirmed.
For those of you who are not familiar with the Broad City storyline, here’s a brief summary. The series revolves around two female protagonists, Ilana and Abbi and their adventurous lives in New York City. They are both in their early twenties. While Abbi wants to pursue a career and become an illustrator, all Ilana wants is to indulge in hedonism.
If you have watched this show, you probably remember that Season 3 ended dramatically after Ilana had discovered that Abbi and Trey (played by Paul W. Downs) have a secret love affair. Many questions are left unanswered, so we understand that you must be getting impatient to see what will happen next. We believe that the upcoming sequel will reveal what exactly happened after Abbi and Trey’s big fight and how Ilana accepted the big news about their relationship. It has also been rumored that the new episodes will show us who Abbi’s mother is and that both Ilana and Abbi will get new jobs.
Broad City Season 4 Release Date
The good news is that you won’t have to wait for too long to see what the fourth season of your favorite TV series will bring – Broad City Season 4 is set to be released on August, 23 this year, right after South Park. We have also found out that it will comprise ten episodes. Without a doubt, the new batch of episodes will be at least as interesting and exciting as the previous three, so don’t miss the premiere.
