We bring you a fan-made poster for Furious 9 that turns the entire franchise upside down!

Well, this is one of those we-will-have-to-believe-it-to-see-it news, and nothing should be taken so seriously, at least until Universal Studios confirms it. This one comes thanks to the huge success of the Fate of the Furious has made and the ever growing anticipation of the 9th sequel in this huge movie franchise. The first time anyone could see this fan-made poster is thanks to Tyrese Gibson who posted it to his Facebook account, but for some reason, the post was taken down very quickly after that. This is not something that can stop the WWW moles and just thanks to them we have this poster unearthed for you to see it.

What is a true surprise here is the involvement of the actor Matt Damon but nothing should be taken as an official info at least until the Universal Studios gives the green light (or does not). But there is something else on the poster that is “surprising,” for the lack of the better word, is the fact that Dominic Toretto is standing beside a Ford XA Falcon GT RPO83. Everyone knows that Dom is a Dodge Charger guy, or at least he has been ever since part one of the F&F franchise. The fact that this could happen is very unlikely, and we believe that it would be very hard to detach Dom and his love for Dodge badged muscle cars, no matter what the Ford pony car is in question.

It is a fact that Toretto changed the brands on occasion, but it was never for Ford. He drove Chevrolet muscle cars though, on several occasions, including a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS in the post-credit scene of the first movie, a 1973 Chevrolet Camaro F-Bomb in Fast and Furious 4, and a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Grand Sport in Fast and Furious 5. Ford, on the other hand, is yet to be driven (I did not include the Ford GT40 back in Fast and Furious 5 because it was just for a scene or two).

Since it’s about time to see him in a Ford muscle car why not in the one on the poster? The Ford XA Falcon GT RPO83 actually deserves its 5 minutes of spotlight especially when we all know that this beast has a 5.7 L V8 engine making 334 HP and 380 pound-feet of torque which is a huge deal for a car straight from the 70s. It also sports a Holley 780 carburetor and 2.25-inch exhaust headers which are just some of the notable parts. To make it even more appealing, you must know (if you do not already) that this car was limited to the Australian market and it was produced in only 250 units with the RPO83 package.

As we already mentioned, this fan-made poster is pretty far fetched but who knows what will come out from the minds of Universal Studio directors and the lead star Vin who still has something to say when it comes to decisions like this. The tagline “Can’t outrun a ghost” is actually a good one but that’s it at least as far as credibility goes.

My name is Miloš Kalajdžić and I come from Brčko DC in Bosnia. I was born on July 20 th 1988 and so far I obtained a BSc in economics and one year of working experience in my field of study. I am a very hard-working person who leaves nothing unfinished and halfway done. When I commit to something I give my best to make sure that everything is done the way as it is supposed to be. I like cars and everything that comes with them. My passion are American muscle cars, but unfortunately the closest I managed to come near one is behind my laptop watching an image of the new Chevy or Dodge and writing about it. But that’s ok I’m still optimistic. When I’m not behind the laptop writing I’m on the streets and auto shows admiring all stuff rolling on four wheels being propelled by a petrol engine!
