iZombie Season 4 was given the green light! The zombie drama was officially renewed for another season by CW, which is definitely great news for many fans of this TV show.
This series is about an undead morgue attendant who takes on the persona of the brain she eats, and she uses that so that she can solve murders. It definitely is one of the most amusing shows on TV. Actually, that is sort of expected from Rob Thomas, the creator of another favorite cult show – Veronica Mars. He directs iZombie together with Diane Ruggiero-Wright.
Despite the fact that iZombie received quite modest ratings, they still renewed it for another season. In its Season 3, the show saw a significant reduction in the popularity. Currently, the average score is 0.3 and has 905,000 viewers per episode. This basically means that there has been a decrease of more than 30% from Season 2. Which is obviously not good, neither for the series or for the fans.
But we don’t mind, do we? Mainly because the delivery of the sequel of iZombie means that we get to see another season of this charming and adorable cast. The crew of this drama is probably one of the most amusing ones on the screen.
We still don’t know who will be returning for Season 4, because the series can still kill some characters before Season 3 is finished. However, at this moment, iZombie includes Rose McIver, Aly Michalka, Robert Buckley, Malcolm Goodwin, David Anders and Rahul Kohli.
The iZombie series is based on the Vertigo comic of the same name. However, since we must say it, pretty roughly indeed.
It seems that this one was renewed together with The Originals. That means that The CW has officially renewed all of the returning series. However, earlier this week, it canceled some freshman shows, such as Frequency and No Tomorrow.
