Lotus company is working on an SUV model for their lineup as some of you may know, but unfortunately, it is still somewhere around four or five years away. To cut our waiting time down Angelo Polo Gallardo made us these renderings that look really astonishing and if the end product is as near as the stuff we see on these renderings everyone will be very interested.
The exact inside and out look of the new Lotus SUV is very hard to determine especially when it’s this far away and when it is still a drawing on a work desk. But that fact did not stop this designer to very successfully combine a number of familiar Lotus design elements into what you see here – a sporty and compact SUV which appears to be somewhat smaller than the Audi Q2, plus it is made and sold with only three doors variant.
As you can also see this Lotus Evolve “concept” sports a very aggressive shape that is angled steeply towards what seems to be a relatively low front end. The side of the vehicle has a lot of creases and design bumps that stretch up from front wheel arches, past the small side windows and through to the B-pillars. Other elements that Angelo Polo Gallardo, very nicely, incorporated are angular headlights and taillights, a set of large wheels and a familiar green and yellow paint scheme that comes straight from the Lotus emblem.
What is a slight possible “problem” here is that this SUV has yet to be given a seal of approval from this British automaker. We definitely hope that they will green light this and when they do it is very likely going to be one of the few lightweight and most sporty crossovers on the market.
