The previous month was interesting when it comes to sales and at the top of the list was the Ford F-Series, which was by far the most popular truck in April. Although its sales were slightly decreased compared to the same month in 2016, Blue Oval still managed to sell 70,657 F-Series models.
Following, in the second place, is Ram with 43,321 units sold, whereas the third position belongs to the Chevrolet Silverado with 40,154 units purchased by the US customers. In April, crossovers were rather popular, and Honda CR-V was bought by 32,671 people, whereas just below it is the Toyota RAV4 with 31,757 registered sales.
Spots five to ten belong to the vehicles such as Toyota Camry, Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Rogue and Honda Accord, respectively. Interestingly enough, the first three models remain at the same positions, but because of Ram’s strong showing last month, together with the success of the Silverado, the gap between them and the Ford F-Series has been reduced. Now, the difference between these trucks is only 6,101 units, and GM has a chance to surpass Blue Oval soon.
The battle for the top selling crossover is also interesting, and here, the Nissan Rogue and Honda CR-V are waging war. If we add the sales from the last month as well, the Rogue has a slight advantage over the Japanese opponent, and it is only 2,079 vehicles ahead.
