Even though The CW canceled Hart of Dixie Season 5, its numerous fans are still hoping it will be produced.
A member of the cast since its first season, Scott Porter, has posted on his Twitter account that the show was available on Netflix. A large number of fans commented on his tweet, expressing hope that the series will continue from where it left off.
This one was first released on The CW in September 2011. The first three seasons consisted of 22 episodes, and the final one aired only 10 from December 15, 2014, to March 27, 2015. Two months later, in May that year, the show’s home network announced its cancellation.
Rachel Bilson, whom we watched in Jumper and The Last Kiss is the lead of the cast in Hart of Dixie. Although she has had no active projects listed on IMDB, she announced that she would be back to work soon. Moreover, she is the official spokesperson of ChapStick.
Ever since the fourth season of Hart of Dixie finished, fans have been eager for more. Considering the great number of curious followers, the network might decide on renewing the show for the fifth season. There still hasn’t been any official announcement regarding its renewal.
Before he canceled Hart of Dixie, the CW president Mark Pedowitz stated that the Season 4 had a great season finale, so no one expected he would cancel the show after saying this. Nonetheless, his announcement of the cancellation came out a few months later.
If we take a look at some social networks, Twitter, for example, we can see innumerable comments and tweets of the fans who still hope there would be Season 5 of Hart of Dixie.
Although it has been officially canceled, let’s hope that they will change their minds and pick up the show for a fifth season and in that way fulfill wishes of a large number of fans.
