Previously, the phones manufactured by BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) sporting the QWERTY keypads were a compromise with the screen sizes and the company has taken care of this issue in the new device named ‘Passport.’ A report from n4bb compared the Passport to Bold 9900, and concluded that the former is “is huge. No, really, it’s massive.” BlackBerry Bold 9900 has a 2.8 inch screen while the upcoming Passport would be 4.5 inches.
Easy navigation
The company had introduced its first phablet Z3, which was an all touch device and with upcoming ‘Passport,’ it has introduced another phablet with QWERTY keypad.

The latest release by the company was Z3, and now, it has plans of introducing few more new models of which ‘Passport’ is one.
The company is promoting ‘Passport’ well so that it becomes highly popular before its official launch in the markets. The showing off of the wide screen and innovative keypad has caught the attention of many BlackBerry lovers who expressed their appreciation for the device on the company’s blog.
“The BlackBerry Passport is proving that it is hip to be square, as early glimpses of the device’s massive, trend-bucking screen and innovative, touch-enabled keyboard last week attracted huge media attention and plenty of positive comments from readers (read: potential buyers),” said the company in a blog post.
