Smackdown Live has some new blood after Wrestlemania 33 as they are gearing up for the new season in the WWE. There is a lot of potential for some fresh and new matchups after a couple of debuts after Mania and after the Superstar shakeup. These are feuds that they need to make going into the Summerslam and even later on.
1) AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura – This one is a no-brainer. As soon as the rumors started swirling that Nakamura is going to join the WWE, the fans started thinking about the Phenomenal One going against the King Of Strong Style. This is a money match, and the company would be stupid to give it up before Wrestlemania 34. Still, they are known for making rash decisions and for not having enough patience so we might see this duel earlier than we should.
2) Naomi vs. Charlotte – Another match that is likely going to happen. Charlotte has done everything that there was to do on the red brand. Now, it is expected for her to challenge Naomi for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. These two are the best athletes that both women’s divisions have to offer so this showdown can be a great one if the storyline is done correctly.
3) Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn – It is obvious that these two wrestlers are destined to fight forever. If Kevin Owens keeps the US Title long enough, it will be interesting for us to see them fight over the championship, even though it is not the biggest one. They have a great chemistry in the ring so their every showdown is a must-watch event.
