In the newest movie of the franchise The Fate of the Furious by F. Gary Grey, the group has to do something once their leader Dominic Toretto (played by Vin Diesel) stops following orders and starts acting on his own. So as to get Dom back, a shifty new character we came to meet in Furious 7, Mr. Nobody (played by Kurt Russell) decides to join Hobbs (played by The Rock) and Deckard Shaw (played by Jason Statham) for an assignment. For the mission he has planned, he also added Eric Reisner (played by Scot Eastwood) with his nickname “Little Nobody.”
Truth be told, the Fast & Furious family has been welcoming new characters chapter after chapter, starting from The Rock in Fast Five to the villains Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron in The Fate of the Furious. Scott Eastwood stated that the franchise does embrace new names with great enthusiasm.
The Fate of the Furious is the eighth part of this continuing serial, and for the first time, it deals with a founder member going rogue and turning his back on the team. According to Vin Diesel, the storyline of this new movie could set off a whole new trilogy, which could be consisted of ten movies. That’s mind-blowing, considering that back in 2001 original film didn’t intend to start one of the most popular franchises or to push and see how many parts can be made based on cars and driving.
