Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel are working together on the eighth installment of the popular movie franchise called Fast and Furious. The latest film is named The Fate of the Furious, and the beef between two most popular actors kicked off last August when The Rock publicly complained about his co-star Vin Diesel.
Just to remind you, Dwayne Johnson wrote: “Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling — you’re right.”
Vin Diesel took the hit and then we could see his status on Instagram: “I will tell you everything, everything.” Vin Diesel says, however, that everything is normal between the two and he told USA Today that they are like in a relation.
Even though Vin Diesel didn’t talk about specifics, he declared: “I don’t think the world really realizes how close we are, in a weird way. I think some things may be blown out of proportion. I don’t think that was his intention. I know he appreciates how much I work this franchise. In my house, he’s Uncle Dwayne.”
The tension on the set does exist sometimes, and Diesel appears to be in charge of things. He continued: “I protect the franchise. I protect everybody including Dwayne. I protected Dwayne more than he’ll ever know. And it doesn’t matter. He doesn’t have to know. But he appreciates it. He knows it. Dwayne has only got one Vin in his life. Dwayne Johnson only has one big brother in this film world and that’s me.”
He also added: “Always, always, always. I’m always rooting for Dwayne. I’m the first multicultural megastar in Hollywood. They didn’t exist,” says Diesel. “To see another multicultural star come up is something I am very proud of. I’m always rooting Dwayne on.”
Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel are two huge personalities and this can lead to a collision. “It’s not always easy being an alpha. And it’s two alphas,” says Vin Diesel.
