Possible partners for this one were few to none, but Jerry Jones decided not to release him because he was of the opinion that Tony is a franchise QB capable of bringing Super Bowl to whatever team he plays. In the end, Jones decided to let Romo talk to other clubs but the final decision was Romo’s, and he decided to call it a day.
News about Tony Romo’s retirement spread like wildfire. He is to leave football for good and enter the broadcasting world according to sources from ESPN. They are claiming that former Cowboys QB is going to fill the void left by Phil Sims at CBS. He would, for a lucrative salary, become their leading NFL analyst. The offer is supposedly so good that it made Romo walk away from his life as a professional football player and change his profession.
