Lamborghini Centenario Spotted in Paris and It Looks Awesome!

When this article came to me, I instantly remembered the famous quote that Henry Ford said – “You can have it any color you like, as long as it’s black.” You probably wonder why? Well, with a price of $1.9 million for this supercar that quote loses all of its meaning. Again, you probably ask why? Well, with that astronomical price the Italian automaker made sure that with the premium price all of their Centenario’s 40 customers must get a premium treatment, meaning that they can choose their own paint finishes and accents.

If you recall, nearly a month ago Lambo delivered the first Centenario, and in a very short period we already have a video of it driving around open roads, and we see it nowhere else than the city of lights. This particular piece is hosting a matte white finish with red, white, and green striping, and blue body accents, which is pretty nice and tasteful if we might add. Of course, how we perceive beauty is always personal, and it should not be discussed or argued, but you must admit that the Centenario looks very sharp and distinctive. If you recall, this supercar was revealed by the automaker in 2016 in order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini.

If you swiftly run your eyes over it, you will get the impression that this is a Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce, and you are indeed right, but Lamborghini made sure, after a lot of trouble, to make this one a “different kind of bull.” As you can see, the exterior sports a completely new design with exposed rear tires (inspiration was drawn from motorcycles). Interior is equipped with first ever touchscreen for brand measuring in at 10.1 inches. But this all is not what makes this supercar incredible. It is its performance.

When the body of the car was redesigned, the engineers decided to re-tune the engine as well, and they decided to raise the redline from 8.500 to 8.600 rpm, lowered the pressure for the intake manifold, and installed a muffler to reduce back pressure. This “slight” modifications resulted in 19 additional horsepower for a mind-blowing total of 759 HP. But there is one more thing that the Centenario hosted for the first time ever, and it is the rear-wheel steering system.
