Recently the Funimation Entertainment stated that My Hero Academia season 2 will start on April 1, 2017. When it comes to the right to stream it, Crunchyroll and Hulu are to simultaneously air episodes of season 2 with the addition of season 1 (courtesy of Crunchyroll) that will be streamed wholly before April 1. But, when it comes to Crunchyroll showing the first season we should note that it will only be available in selected territories.
My Hero Academia Season 2 will be streamed in English dub and in Japanese with English subtitles which is nothing unusual, this is claimed by Anime News Network. But there is a trick with the English dub. It will only be featured on Funimation Now. But the Japanese version with English subs will be aired the same day on Hulu and Crunchyroll, so that won’t be a big problem.
Crunchyroll is streaming the season 1 of the My Hero Academia for those who want to prepare themselves fully for the season 2. Crunchyroll is also showing the first season with English subs in selected territories such as Canada, USA, Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The first season of the anime is also offered on Hulu.
According to Comic Book season 2 of this anime will be aired at the same time here and in Japan. Of course, that doesn’t mean that these will occur at the exactly same time.
This one will be on the program every Saturday at 5.30 p.m. via Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV. When it comes to season 1 (13 episodes in total), it was aired on the TBS/MBS channel in April 2016.

These are good times for Anime lovers since they will soon be able to follow Izuku and the company through their new adventures in the sequel. On top of that rivalries have been replaced by partnerships. Companies no longer fight for rights, they now partner up which makes shows like this available to wider audiences. A win-win situation for all!
If this trend picks up the pace, animes such as this one will become ‘more accessible’ which is extraordinary (officials of Funimation Entertainment endorsed this thesis). And My Hero Academia Season 2 may have just become a pioneer in its own manner.
