Huawei likes to keep things interesting, and that is why they decided to make their customers happy by releasing a few new versions of their already popular Huawei Honor 6X.
As you probably already know, it has been just a few months since we have been graced with the Huawei Honor 6X and it immediately got really good reviews. Those positive comments are probably one of the reasons that this China-based smartphone developer decided to release a few more variants of the said gadget. Besides those standard colors (gray, silver and gold) that were available from the get-go, Huawei Honor 6X will now, in a short period, be available in two more color options – Blue and Pink.
The new color variants of this device are already available for the Chinese markets and thanks to this, experts claim that the new colors of the smartphone will soon come to the other markets as well. But these options, as fun as they may be, are not what made this phone so great. Its dual-lens camera setup on the back is what brought it into the focus of buyers. One of its two cameras has 12 megapixels while the other one has 2 megapixels and they are aided by Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF) technology and a LED flash. The front camera is an 8-megapixel unit which is great for selfies. The Honor 6X also comes with a Kirin 655 octa-core processor and runs on an Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
What will probably gladden the owners of the Honor 6X is the fact that some news state that it might very soon receive an Android 7.0 Nougat operating system which might come sometime in the second quarter of the year. Don’t you think that it would be great if the new OS upgrade came along together with new color options?! It would be a great Win-Win situation!
