Once it is finished, the loved anime show is going to leave a void which will be filled by Boruto: Naruto Next Generations allowing the fans to follow the story of Naruto’s son.
The new series will be set a few years after the 4th Great Ninja War that happened in the manga adaptation of Naruto, reports Ecumenical News. At that time, Naruto is married to the princess of the Hyuga clan Hinata and the couple’s son Boruto is already born.
Before the start of the new series, Boruto had already appeared in his own movie that was released two years ago. Boruto even received his spin-off manga series where he is the main character, a story arc that ended last month. The new anime will be featured in the upcoming chapter 11 of the manga series, and it will follow a teenage version of Boruto after he defeated the villain Otsutsuki Momoshiki. The Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga will show the fans Boruto who is gaining strength and power because of the curse mark left by Momoshiki that is said to awaken his untouchable Byakugan bloodline.
