Women’s division on Monday Night Raw is really not the best that this company has to offer. Yes, there are some great performers in this organization, like Bayley, Sasha, and Charlotte, but the booking is what makes this division a bit emotionless and not that interesting to watch. The storylines often don’t make sense and seem rushed.
Raw has been utilizing just four girls since the brand split. Actually, at first, there were only Sasha and Charlotte that appeared in major storylines. Now, Nia Jax and Bayley have been added to the mix, but the same matches are happening over and over again with nobody really benefiting from it.
Dana Brooke has been used badly while her work isn’t the greatest as well. The match for the Women’s title at Wrestlemania was a triple threat match between Sasha, Charlotte and the Champion Bayley.
There were reports a couple of weeks ago that the duel for the Raw Women’s title is going to be a fatal four-way match with Nia Jax added to the mix. Yesterday, we saw her battle Bayley for her spot at the grandest stage of them all. The reports from a couple of weeks back ended up true, and we will have a fatal four-way as Nia pinned Bayley.
They have been using only four women, and that is why it makes sense for Nia to be there too. Leaving her out would be a pretty big slap in the face. Now, when it comes to who is going to win it, Charlotte is going to be a favorite, with Sasha probably as a dark horse. It’s hard to imagine Bayley winning it again since she hasn’t been promoted to look strong while it seems that it’s just too early for Nia to win the gold.
