Married at First Sight is full of intrigues and complexities. The Season 4 reunion tells us what happened to 6 contestants and brings us the news regarding their lives. The participants were faced with many questions coming from many professionals such as a sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Cal Roberson and communication expert Rachel DeAlto. The most attention was diverted to the fact that one husband is no longer having his wedding ring.
Tom and Lillian
This couple is still flowing in marital waters. They were brought together because they complement one another and that is something both of them are aware of. Even though they lead their lives in opposite manners, their relationship is running smoothly.
Lillian told that they have a quite healthy love life.
They have been trying hard to maintain their relationship on the right track, and that has been going great. As it is the case in every relationship, some compromises were needed. One of the ways to improve their relationship was to go on a salsa together.
“I think dancing together creates a different type of intimacy between us,” Lillian says.
At the beach, a shell hiding a diamond ring perfectly matches with Tom’s words: “This is a promise to you that I’m going to try to be the best husband that I can be. This is a show of commitment and trying my hardest.”
Derek and Heather
Aware of the fact that their relationship wouldn’t take them anywhere, this couple stayed apart. According to Derek, Heather was not something that he seeks in a woman, but he is not looking for anyone at the very moment.
Heather, on the other hand, admits that she is grief-stricken because their relationship couldn’t work out. Even though she didn’t gain much from Married at First Sight, she actually did receive a wealth of experience, especially when it comes to some things related to her inner self. She is also not seeing anyone, but she has learned a lot from the show.
Nick and Sonia
These two are still having some difficulties they need to work out in order to enjoy their relationship. Dr. Pepper asked Nick what happened to his wedding ring. Not having it would definitely be the sign of the broken relationship. But Nick explained that it had nothing to do with that. At that moment he was just returning from his golf course, where he had to take it off.
Generally, they seem satisfied with their relationship and with each other, which Nick confirms by saying that he can “see the big picture” now.
Sonia, on the other hand, adds:
“I think each day that passes, he’s showing me that he’s really in it, and he’s looking forward to us being together,” Sonia says.
They are ready to work on their relationship, and they are thinking about their future together.
Married At First Sight Season 5 Release Date
Season 5 of the show is coming back in 2017, apparently with a new location in Chicago.
