Vehicles like the iconic Ford Bronco and other rugged SUVs are meant for the people who enjoy driving their cars through beautiful landscapes in the middle of nowhere. This is one of the reasons why the drift racer Vaughn Gittin Jr. decided to assemble a new off-road racer with a Bronco body which got the name “Brocky.”
The chassis of the Brocky is taken from the off-road race buggy specialist Jimmy’s 4×4, and it really enhances the performance of the vehicle, especially when it is driven over the sand. The sheet metal comes from the classic Ford Bronco, and even though you might think that you don’t need this racer, you are wrong.
The Ford Performance 427 V8 engine produces 600 horsepower and according to Gittin, it “sounds amazing.” This powerplant is connected to an ATI Racing Transmissions SuperCase TH400 gearbox, and the vehicle is equipped with the GearWorks 10-inch differentials. The 4500 Independent Front Suspension race is the reason why this fellow was assembled as it will compete in the truck class. Because of that, the Brocky has 20 and 16 inches of front and rear suspension travel respectively.
This fascinating Bronco speeds through the desert on beadlock-equipped versions of American Racing Ansen wheels wrapped in 37-inch Nitto Trail Grappler tires. Furthermore, Brocky sports KCHiLites headlights and a bar of their driving lights in case one needs to drive across the desert during the night.
Good news for everyone is that Gittin and New Bright RC became partners in order to produce a radio controlled model of Brocky which will go on sale and it will be great for kids. What do you think about the Brocky?
