As you most likely know by now, Beyonce is pregnant again, and this time she is carrying twins. Congrats to both her and Jay-Z! But, what you probably didn’t know is the fact that baby announcement picture very quickly became one of the most liked photos in Instagram history. You wouldn’t believe it but in just 24h it managed to gather more than 7.2 million likes, and as we are writing this that number is nearing 10 million likes.
Why is this so important and what does any of this has to do with the Porsche 914?! Well besides the very famous Instagram image that shows the singer draped in a green veil, posing in front of an extravagant bouquet, there is a car. The vehicle in question is the ratty old Porsche 914 which has flowers growing out of its nooks and crannies, and everyone’s favorite superstar is laying on top of the car, which by the way is one of the worst sports cars ever produced.
But, to be entirely honest, this Porsche 914 has seen better days, and as you can see from the picture, it has a well scratched and faded red finish which have served a purpose of enhancing the artistic nature of the shoot. To make all this very rounded, Beyonce is on top of removable Targa top while underneath her, flowers have sprouted out from the hood, doors, and trunk, and this entire art piece is taking place in front of a faux sky background.
What is another thing that you didn’t know is that this whole photo-shoot was named “I have three hearts” which is an ode to her twin babies. These pieces of art were photographed by Awol Erizku, who is a very famous artist, sculptor, and photographer based in L.A. The Porsche 914 only makes an appearance in two photos, but it makes the total difference and adds up to the imaginative announcement.
