NFL’s Players’ Association has released its Top 50 Player Sales List, and the Cowboys have five players among the Top 15 best-sellers in the league. In the research that we have here creators included a period between March 1, 2016, all the way through November 30, 2016, and brings sale figures of all officially licensed products by more than 80 NFLPA licenses. We are not talking only about the jerseys, but all the merchandise like T-shirts, bobbleheads, drinkware. wall decals, ornaments, novelties, socks, etc.
Ranking in the Top 5 is Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot who ranks at number 2, while wide receiver Dez Bryant is ranked third on this list. They are also at the top of the players that play their position since Elliot is leading the running backs while Bryant leads wideouts. Number one player on this list is Patriots’ QB Tom Brady who took over Dez Bryant’s number one spot from 2015. Elliot is also the highest ranked rookie on the list since Johnny Manziel in 2014.
The ranking also in the Top 15 are Cowboys’ rookie quarterback Dak Prescott who sits at 8th, Cowboys’ legendary tight end Jason Witten who is 13th while now backup signal caller for Dallas Tony Romo is 14th on this list. Incredible success for the franchise from Dallas and certainly nice source of income for this club.
Six quarterbacks are ranked in the Top 10. Brady and Prescott made it along with Carson Wentz (5th), Russell Wilson (6th), Aaron Rodgers (7th) and Cam Newton (10th).
