Atlanta’s high-octane offense is ready to go on Sunday. Matt Ryan is a prime MVP candidate that has had an amazing regular season and just as good playoff run. This offense is on fire right now, but they will face their the toughest task and most dangerous opponent yet in Super Bowl LI when they will meet with the New England Patriots.
Tom Brady is the leader of that Patriots offense that is pretty good as well. They are not as explosive as Atlanta although they can put up the points on the board. Falcons pass rush will be the key for this squad because Brady is known to make some mistakes when he is under pressure. A textbook move for coaches is to put the pressure on Brady and make him feel uncomfortable and unsecured behind his offensive line.
If that is not working, Atlanta needs to keep him off the field. Of course, the best way to do so is for their running game to be effective and keep that clock rolling. It’s a good thing that they have two guys in the backfield in Devonta Freeman, and Tevin Coleman who both can run it and even catch the ball as backs.
The defense is the weakness for the Falcons, so that is why their offense needs to step up and keep Brady off the field while they also need to put up a lot of points on the board in case New England is able to respond. If the Atlanta Falcons are going to win this game, it’s going to be a shootout with a lot of points. There is no way that they will be able to win a defensive struggle. We are picking a high-scoring duel, but the one that in the end will belong to the New England Patriots.
