2018 Ford Mustang gives us a video tour of its external changes!

As you probably may know by now, Ford hit the headlines everywhere by showing their updated 2018 Mustang coupe and on top of all that, in just a few days they managed to release additional info regarding the convertible version of the most popular sports car. Since everybody (including us) has already brought you news and about the changes on the car, Ford decided to go one step further and made a video that shows these changes very clearly. On that video, you can see a silver 2017 Mustang and a slider to overlay a maroon 2018 model on top of it just to clearly emphasize the changes that were made.

On the said video you can clearly spot a few things like the grille and hood which both now sit lower, the hood received scoop-like bulges, the lower front air intake flares have been pushed out instead of in, and the outer air intakes (which house the fog lights) are reshaped and restyled. The entire front lighting cluster got changed to LEDs, and that will be done across the Fords lineup. But the rear end of the Mustang is somewhat subtly altered, meaning that the taillights have also been changed to use LED technology and with the moderately more complex shape. The rear bumper and styling have also changed but not as much as you would hope for. It would take a really good Mustang expert to tell you what exactly is different here, except that the rear diffuser now isn’t in body color but black.

Blu Oval company also used this opportunity to inform everybody that the 2018 Ford Mustang will now be available in three new paint colors and 12 wheel designs. But those are somehow “unimportant” news. What is important is that Ford is assuring everybody that this one is the most advanced Mustang ever made, and we are leaning toward believing them. What we hold against Ford is that they denied us the tour of the interior, but that just might be coming in the next video. If that actually happens, you will be the first to know!
