Whoever picked the Dallas Cowboys before the season to go to the Super Bowl and meet with the New England Patriots was called insane. But, after the season started to unfold, many people believed that they are on a destination to meet in the biggest game of the year since the Cowboys looked like the best team in the NFC.
Now, a lot of people will be picking the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots to meet in the next year’s Super Bowl match. New England is not going anywhere in the near future, and whatever happens this year in the Super Bowl, they will be right at the top of the list of teams that can play there next season. The same can be said for the Cowboys, a squad that has a bright future with two young stars leading the way. Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot will be ready to strike next year.
When it comes to Dak Prescott, well, he was asked about the Super Bowl matchup and who he feels is going to prevail in the ultimate duel of the year. He had a pretty good answer.
“Tom Brady is Tom Brady, you can’t beat him. Except for me,” Prescott was short, yet loud and clear. The message was delivered.
And who knows, this just might be the matchup that we see for the Super Bowl LII. But before that, the Patriots have a big game to play on Sunday against the Falcons. Prescott, on the other hand, will watch the game from the comfort of his home and maybe even scout Brady and his team for their potential future duel.
