What all experienced players and fans of the “Grand Theft Auto” franchise are waiting with great excitement is the arrival of “Grand Theft Auto 6” – “GTA 6”. There have been several reports online in the last months of 2016 about its release, but none of them confirmed the actual date of its launch. Since we’ve been in 2017 for a month already, fans of the franchise are on pins and needles waiting for an official statement by Rockstar Games.
According to VG24/7, “GTA 6” has already been launched in Brazil. Unfortunately, there is the other side of the coin, which is the fact that the version released in Brazil is made only for PlayStation 2. Therefore, the most passionate “GTA” players had no other option than to settle for the early version of “GTA 6”.
Namely, the “GTA 6” released in Brazil debuted online via a photo posted on Reddit. According to the comments on Reddit, “GTA” players could instantly notice that it turned out to be a significantly modded version of “GTA: San Andreas” installment.
The aforementioned “GTA 6” launched in Brazil definitely paved the way for the new installment and intrigued its fans at the same time. According to what we read at Tech Radar, “GTA 6” still seems to be in the pre-production stage. Another report on Tech Radar state that Rockstar Games has not agreed on a location yet.
In the meantime, “Red Dead Redemption 2” is set to be released by the end of 2017, which means that the further development of “GTA 6” might be postponed for a bit. Most likely, the launch of the sequel will depend on the development of its Rockstar Games brothers “Red Dead Redemption 2”. Therefore, its passionate fans will have to play “GTA 5” a bit longer than expected, which is precisely what they are doing, since its popularity on average players charts has increased.
