Dallas had an amazing run in 2016. After dropping their first match to the New York Giants, they went on an 11-game winning streak and led the NFC for almost the whole regular season. They were on fire all season long and finished the year going 13-3 while also earning the top spot in the NFC Playoffs.

They had a lot of good performances this season. Their matchup in Week 2 against the Redskins was great, their duel with the Eagles when Prescott threw the game-winner to Witten was also pretty good, just like their late-season showdown with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

But, all of these matches couldn’t top what the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers did on November the 13th at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. It was an amazing back and forth game, a high-scoring affair that ended on an Ezekiel Elliot huge game-winning play.

Big Ben Roethlisberger threw for 408 yards in that match and 3 TD passes, including one late TD toss to Antonio Brown after he pulled off a fake spike. It seemed that Roethlisberger’s pass would be enough for Steelers’ win, but Dallas got the ball back with time on the clock.

Dak Prescot, who finished the duel with 319 passing yards and two touchdowns made some nice plays to put Elliot in a position to make a great game-winning TD run. He took off from the 32-yard line and never looked back as he went untouched to the end zone. The final score of this amazing contest was 35:30 in favor of the visitors from Dallas. This match had all the big plays, lead changes and great moments for us to declare it the best Dallas Cowboys game in 2016.
