2020 Ford Bronco – Facts Don’t Lie

The 2020 Ford Bronco is officially back, and we have been waiting for it ever since the last Bronco got out of the factory in 1996. The confirmation came at the Detroit Auto Show, and this iconic vehicle from Blue Oval will be produced at company’s Michigan Assembly Plant.

According to Ford officials, the new Bronco will be a body-on-frame 4×4 SUV. Product Development Chief, Raj Nair said that the new model would be based on the Ranger pickup, which is also expected to come back to America in 2019. We believe that a large amount of aluminum will be used for the production of the upcoming Bronco since the new Wrangler, one of its main competitors in the future, is switching to that material, as well.

However, we are not quite sure what the 2020 Ford Bronco will look like. Some believe it will resemble the Raptor, while a designer on Reddit, who is allegedly working in Ford claims that the new Bronco will be “very similar to the current Everest,” which means that it will be a far cry from the classic Bronco we all fell in love with.

Although it is still early to say, it is believed that an EcoBoost engine will power the 2020 Bronco. It is estimated that whatever engine is put under the hood, it will produce about 300 horses and a lot of torque. We also root for the diesel variant, but once again, these are just speculations and possible options.

As we have already said, the Bronco, together with the Ranger will be produced at the plant in Wayne, Michigan. However, most of Ford’s vehicles are being developed at Ford’s Asia-Pacific Engineering Center in Victoria, Australia, so it is likely to see the new models developed down under.

2020 Ford Bronco Price

Considering that the starting price of the Ford Everest would be about $40,000 if it arrived in the US and the Wrangler and 4Runner are priced around $35,000, it is safe to say that the starting price of the new Bronco would go from $30,000 to $35,000. Follow us for more details.
