Although 2016 is only a few days behind us, there are some great movies in store for 2017, and we have made some predictions about which 10 will earn the most money.
The Fate of the Furious
We are all familiar with the fact that Furious 7 earned as much as $1,516 billion, which made it the sixth highest-grossing movie of all time. It will certainly be extremely difficult to outdo that, but they are definitely doing their best. Namely, the franchise has added Charlize Theron, Scott Eastwood, and Helen Mirren to the film and, what’s more, the trailer revealed that pretty much entire crew from previous part will be in the movie, as well. We are all looking forward to its release on April 14.

Although one might think another Transformers film isn’t necessary, they are preparing great things for us. Namely, we have few new members but also some that already were the part of this franchise. These are some of the actors: Anthony Hopkins, Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Stanley Tucci, Isabela Moner, and Jerrod Carmichael. What a crew!
Wonder Woman
We simply cannot wait for summer 2017 when this film will be released, or June 2, to be precise. Gal Gadot as its main actor is a pleasure to be watched, and rumor has it that the movie will be hilarious.
Logan
Judging by the popularity Deadpool had, the audience likes to see superhero films taken down an R-rated and more mature terrain. Probably Logan should follow in its footsteps. Its trailer revealed what sort of violence and gore we will be watching as soon as of March 3, 2017.
Justice League
What else can bring together Wonder Woman, The Flash, Batman, Superman, Lois Lane, Cyborg and James Gordon than a hit movie of 2017? That’s the least we can expect from Justice League. Let’s wait and see it on November 17.
Spider-Man: Homecoming
We have already got used to Marvel making spectacles out of its movies. Namely, Spider-Man’s sixth installment promises a lot of humor and quirk, which we will be watching on July 7.
Despicable Me 3
What we can say for sure is that kids movies are extremely popular with the audience. The Secret Life of Pets, Finding Dory, Zootopia are the proof for that, as well as Despicable Me and Minions. It’s been a money churner; therefore its third installment will hit theaters on June 30.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.
Guardians of the Galaxy turned out to be quite a surprise. Not only was it great, but it was the third highest grossing in 2014. Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista, Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel and Zoe Saldana are returning for its big premiere on May 5, which everyone is eager to see.
Beauty and the Beast
One of Disney’s greatest decisions was definitely when they chose to make live-action versions or spin-offs of their classic animated films. Namely, they intend to make Beauty and the Beast the biggest film of these. If its trailer reached 127.6 million views in only 24 hours, we can’t imagine how popular the movie will be after it hits theaters on March 17.
Star Wars: Episode VIII
Of course, Star Wars is number one on the list, its is because the Star Wars: The Force Awakens became the third highest grossing film of all time in December 2015. Also, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was at the top of the box office for three weeks in a row. There is another reason why we think that this movie will dominate. According to reports, this will be the last time to watch Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia. We are looking forward to its release on December 15.
