These two teams already met in Miami this season. Yes, Dolphins were successful in that matchup, but these are not the Steelers that we saw when two crews faced off for the first time. This Steelers squad ended the season on by winning six games in a row. The confidence is sky high right now in Pittsburgh. The offense is healthy, the defense is not breaking down. That’s what Steelers fans can ask for.
Yes, the company from Pittsburgh is much better than in their first meeting with Miami, but there is one guy that is just as good now as he was when these met. It’s Miami’s running back Jay Ajayi who ran for over 200 yards against the Steelers. He is the driving force of this offense, especially now when Tannehill is out for the season and Matt Moore is not the kind of guy that can really make some game changing plays. Ajayi can that’s for sure.
Cameron Wake and Ndamukong Suh have been making big-time plays all year long. They will need to perform at the highest level possible against this Steelers offense. If they don’t put enough pressure on Big Ben, he will torch this defense. If he does, we are not sure that Jay Ajayi can get Dolphins back into the game by himself.
Miami has a lot of talented guys at wideout, but we are not believers in Matt Moore. That is why we are going to pick the Steelers to get the job done on their home turf at Heinz Field.
