Chiefs were in a great position to win their division after beating the Oakland Raiders on Monday Night Football a couple of weeks ago. Then they dropped the game against the Titans, and that was costly for them as they lost their 2nd seed in the AFC. Andy Reid’s squad still has a shot to earn themselves a bye week in the Wildcard Weekend, but they need Denver Broncos help.
Of course, the Chiefs have to beat the Chargers, that’s a given. But, the Raiders need to lose as well in the final Football Sunday of the regular season. They will be playing in Denver versus the Broncos. Chiefs should like their chances of getting that 2nd seed since the Raiders just lost Derek Carr.
Chargers were the ones that lost to the Browns. They probably didn’t feel pretty good after that loss, and also after this season. They have been decent all year, but always missed a stout defense. Without it, they were just an average team in the AFC, a squad that was capable of beating anybody on any given Sunday, but also a crew that was capable of losing to the teams that have no business hanging with them, and one of those was the Cleveland Browns.
This is an important match for the Chiefs as they still have something to play for. That is why we don’t believe that Chargers will win this game. It’s going be close, as it is a divisional rivalry and it will take place in San Diego, but we see the Chiefs as winners in this matchup. The final score will be 31:27 in favor of the visitors from Kansas City.
