New Orleans Saints team had a decent season, considering the fact that their defense is one of the worst in the NFL. Nothing improved on defense, they did better on offense, and that is why they were a bit more competitive this season that they were last year. Still, it wasn’t enough, and they will miss the postseason for the third straight.
Atlanta Falcons, on the other hand, didn’t make the same mistake of falling down the cliff after a good start, like they did last year. When things got tough, they responded and are the winners of NFC South after failing to do that in the past three seasons. They missed the Playoffs in those three campaigns, but the drought is now over after four long years.
Both of these squads are known for their high-powered offenses. Their first matchup was a thing of beauty if you enjoy watching a fast-paced offensive football. Drew Brees and Matt Ryan have put up amazing numbers in that game, and they will do the same in this one.
