As everybody else does, Chevy plans future for its fleet of cars as well. Thanks to that fact we can share info with you what exactly is cooking at their headquarters and what you can expect from the upcoming models.
What was a big headline lately, at least for Chevy, was their first ever fully electric vehicle, the Bolt EV. Why is it so important? Well, the fact is that Bolt EV has pretty much the same price range as the Nissan Leaf, it is an electric car with no gas engine and has an admirable usable range of up to and over 240 miles between charges. With Bolt EV, Chevy managed to make a car that can be used up to a week’s worth of driving on a single charge for the typical consumer, instead of an old-fashioned commuter that has to be regularly charged. Thanks to all of this, Bolt EV was named as a Best Car to Buy 2017 by Green Car Reports.
When performance models are considered, the Camaro and the Corvette entered in a new gen model era with a soul purpose – to boost their look. Besides this, another news is at the top, regarding a new ten-speed automatic transmission which was developed in a partnership between Chevy parent company – General Motors and Ford Motor Company.
Since we already mentioned the GM, we must tell you that their compact Cruze lineup of cars is growing, especially with the addition of a new hatchback and a new turbo diesel sedan (which will come as a 2018 model). With this move, Chevy is hoping to win over the buyers that VW lost when they had to pull they diesel lineup of cars due to that CO2 emission scandal.

Chevrolet Bolt
An all-new model with 238 miles of electric range in typical driving is being prepared. Fully electric with no gas motor, and will be available in LT and Premier trim levels.
Chevrolet Camaro
The 50th anniversary is coming for this model which means a new special edition. 1LE model will be revived for V6 and V8 models, and it will aim at track-oriented users. High-power ZL1 is expected to arrive with a new 10-speed automatic and 650 HP supercharged V8.
Chevrolet Corvette
Grand Sport model will be revived with Z06 suspension and Stingray engine, and it will offer even sharper Z07 suspension.
Chevrolet Cruze
A Five-door hatchback model is going to join the lineup. Turbo diesel engine will be added as an option. Additional USB ports will now come as standard on certain trim levels.
Chevrolet Malibu
Nine-speed automatic transmission is coming to Premier model, with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay which will now be standard on LS and above trim levels. Sport Package will be inserted into the lineup.
Chevrolet Silverado
Low-speed automatic emergency braking which is newly available.
Capless fuel filler introduced. Maximum towing capacity will rise to 12,500 pounds. And the Silverado HD will feature new, more efficient air intake system.
Chevrolet Sonic
Will come with refreshed styling inside and out, together with big tech upgrades with newly-available Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, proximity key, and heated steering wheel.
Chevrolet Spark
New Spark Activ model features raised suspension and unique styling only without the all-wheel drive.
Chevrolet Suburban
Premier trim level is set to replace LTZ. Low-speed automatic emergency braking newly available in this one as well.
Chevrolet Tahoe
Premier trim level in this one comes instead LTZ version. Low-speed automatic emergency braking newly available as well.
Chevrolet Trax
Revised interior and exterior styling. Premier trim level replaces LTZ. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto newly available.
Chevrolet Volt
Will now come with new Citron Green paint scheme as well as with Adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking which are new additions.
