Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) has launched the Galaxy S III mini Value Edition online, which is a smaller variant of the 2012 model Galaxy SIII. The South Korean manufacturer continued its tradition of launching the variants of flagship smartphones. The latest variant is now available in Netherlands on various online electronic retailer websites.
Value edition, a value for money
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) has assigned the price of EUR 180, which would be around 15,300 INR. Galaxy Mini SIII is yet to come on the official Dutch site of the company. According to a website, Gsminfo, Galaxy Mini SIII value edition would have upgraded software compared to Galaxy SIII mini launched, in October 2012. The phone will be powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box compared to Galaxy SIII mini, which was powered with Android 4.1.
The latest phone will have a screen of 4 inch with a resolution of 480×800(WVGA) pixels. The device will run on 1.2 GHz dual core Cortex A9 processor, in addition to 1GB of RAM. Upgraded Galaxy Mini SIII will sport a 5 megapixel rear camera along with a VGA front facing camera.
Samsung upgrades it all
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) recently unveiled the faux-leather covers for the Galaxy S4. Also, the company revealed the Black Editions of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini. The Korean company also stated that the faux-leather coating will also be available in White, following the other colour combinations like Rose White, Rose Gold Black and Deep Black.
Samsung Galaxy S4 has faux leather encasing rather than the usual plastic cover, which was seen in the handsets last year. Other phones from Samsung like Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 3 Neo phablet along with Galaxy Grand 2 also sport the faux leather design.
