Indianapolis Colts need their starting quarterback to be on the field. That is the only way that they can win some games. When he is not playing, they are a completely different team. Andrew Luck is what gets this squad going, he is the one that is winning all the duels for Indy. This was more than obvious as he missed the match against the Steelers and Colts were struggling to get anything going against bad Pittsburgh defense.
Well, Andrew Luck was cleared today for the duel against the Jets. He probably won’t be at 100 percent, but even that is much better than the rest of what Indy has to offer. This is a big game for Indianapolis as they are still trailing the Texans in their division and a loss to the Steelers didn’t help their Playoff run at all. Tolzien was on the field instead of Luck, and the difference was pretty noticeable.
Jets have nothing to play for at this point of the season. They are dead in the division, just looking forward to the end and having the chance to rebuild this team in the offseason. Fitzpatrick probably won’t be on the team in 2017, so changes are about to happen in New York.
They were the favorites in this game when Luck was questionable, but now that he is playing, everybody needs to revisit their picks for this match. We are going to roll with Indy and Andrew Luck in this one. Jets will give them a run for their money, but Luck will be just too much to overcome. The final score on the scoreboard will be 27:17 in favor of Indy.
