A romantic science fiction thriller movie “Passengers” has its second trailer released and apparently, the film is starring two world-famous actors: Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt. The film director is Morten Tyldum, and it was written by Jon Spaihts who are quite confident about the upcoming title and are looking forward to its outcome.
The story of the upcoming drama seems to be highly intriguing, and it could as easily captivate the audience’ attention. Namely, Chris and Jennifer will be taking on a role of two characters – Aurora Lane and Jim Preston, who are on a 120-year journey to a distant planet in a ship called Starship Avalon. Unfortunately, by coincidence, their capsules open prematurely, to be more precise – 90 years early, and that’s when the story of their bonding begins. Their staying on the ship turns into a joint mission where they have to save not only their lives but also the lives of other 5,259 passengers. As a result, this mission brings them closer together, and the story starts revolving around their romance as well.
Apart from these two celebrities, the other cast members are Michael Sheen, Shelby Taylor Mollins, Andy Garcia, Kimberly Battista, Jamie Soricelli, Laurence Fishburne, Aurora Perrineau, Fred Melamed, and Kristin Brock. ”
Passengers Release Date
Passengers” is expected to be released on Dec. 21, 2016. It is said that the success of the movie will depend a lot on the chemistry of the two famous actors. Whether it will be recognized by the audience or not, it only remains to be seen in a few months’ time.
